FESTIVAL FASHION : Pitchfork 2014

It’s officially July and we’re well into the music festival season. Coachella, The Governors Ball, and Bonnaroo are now distant memories in our summer recollections, but we still have events like the Chicago originated Pitchfork Festival to look forward to. Music fests have become notorious for their outrageous attendees and their accompanying outfits which makes it pretty difficult to stylishly stand out in the muddy footed crowd. This is why it is vital  to embrace your personal style whilst experimenting with new clothes and accessories when picking out your perfect Pitchfork look. Tip: It is important that you don’t follow festival trends that you are not fully comfortable with because kimonos, crop tops, and flower crowns are definitely not for everyone. Here I have selected pieces with the help of Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, Topshop and friends, that are stylish yet low-maintenance and will help you get you through any outdoor concert/festival whether it’s over 90 degrees or a flower crown wilting down pour.

CIRCUS will be in attendance at this year's Pitchfork Festival and we want to see your best summer festival style! Look out for us at the Union Park grounds where we'll be snapping the best fest fashion to feature on the site as well as our social media channels, and recapping this year's festivities as a whole. And in case we miss ya? Hashtag #CIRCUStakesPitchfork so we don't miss what's going on through your lens. See you there!
